Pastor Tim has been at Clough Pike since March 2005. He has been married to his lovely wife Kara since 1998, and they have three children, Christopher, John and Anna. Pastor Tim and his family came to us from the Charleston, WV area, where he served on staff at two Baptist churches over ten years. He is a graduate of West Virginia State University, Luther Rice Seminary, and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Kara is a graduate of Marshall University with a degree in Secondary Education, concentrating in Language Arts and Social Studies. She taught high school for five years and currently serves as home manager for the Barnette household.
The heartbeat of Pastor Tim's ministry is to ensure Clough Pike continues to be a place where you can find hope for your future, as God has told us in Jeremiah 29.11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Worship Arts Director - Aaron Smith
Aaron has been at Clough Pike since 2001. Aaron was brought on staff in 2006 as the Worship Arts Director. He was born and raised in Nashville, TN. Aaron is seeking to finish his undergraduate degree from Liberty University in Religious Studies.
Aaron has a passion for leading God's people in worship. He is also heavily involved with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, formerly BSU, here in the Cincinnati area. Aaron's vision is to see this church, and the world, learn to become true worshipers of the King as commanded in John 4:24, "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Youth Director - Jeff Smith
Jeff Smith has been a member of Clough Pike Baptist since 2001. He began working with the student ministry in 2004 and was brought on staff as bi-vocational director of students in 2008. Jeff has worked in student ministry since 1992. He is a graduate of Cumberland College with a BA in Religion and a Master of Education from Mt. St. Joe. Jeff also serves as the Associational Youth Minister for the Southern Hills Baptist Association. He has served in that capacity since 2005. Jeff has a passion to reach the students of today and help them develop into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Through discipleship, camps, student led worship, missions and many other outreach ministries, Jeff has developed Fusion Student Ministry to meet the needs of the students at Clough.
Church Ministry Assistant - Faith Ann Mahaffey
Faith Ann joined the Clough Pike staff in February 2010. She has been a member at Clough Pike BC since 2008. She married her husband Jeff Mahaffey in June, 2009. She and Jeff have both grown up in the Cincinnati area. Faith Ann is pursuing her degree in Psychology with a concentration in Christian Counseling from Liberty University Online.
