Marriage Needs Mercy
Marriage is the union of two people who arrive at the altar carrying some very large luggage. Sometimes it gets opened right on the honeymoon, sometimes not for a week or two or even a year. The Bible calls it "sin," and understanding its influences on your marriage can make all the difference in building your life together. Quite simply, what we believe about God determines the quality of our marriage.
Everybody views life from a worldview, and the most profound thing that shapes our worldview is our understanding of God. Our understanding of God will define how we got here, what we are supposed to do here, and what happens when we leave here. So our perspective on life, and on marriage, is determined by our perspective of God. We'll see how powerful this can be during the next seven weeks.
